# Why work with me

Most developers write the code and hand you a folder. You are then the one finding a host, buying a domain, setting up HTTPS, wondering whether backups run and discovering problems when your staff phone you about them. I do the whole chain, and hand every account, the domain and the source code to you at the end.

## One person, the whole chain

Everything between an idea and a system your staff use on Monday morning, handled in one engagement, with no second vendor to coordinate.

1. ### Domain and DNS

Registered in your company name, DNS configured, email routing set up so mail to your domain reaches you. You hold the registrar login.

2. ### Hosting and deployment

Deployed to infrastructure in your account, with a repeatable deploy pipeline instead of files copied by hand, so the next change ships without drama.

3. ### HTTPS and access control

Certificates that renew themselves, role-based permissions so staff only see what they should, and credentials stored encrypted rather than in a shared spreadsheet. This is my day job, not a sideline: over ten years in IT infrastructure and security, with training in ISO/IEC 27001 ISMS, the OWASP Top 10 and data privacy (listed with issuers and credential IDs on the about page).

4. ### Monitoring and alerting

This is the part most projects skip. Checks on the system and its data, with alerts to WhatsApp or your team chat, so a problem reaches me before a staff member reaches you.

5. ### Backups you can actually restore

Backups on a schedule agreed in writing when the work is scoped, plus a restore actually tested at least once, because a backup nobody has restored is not a backup.

6. ### Handover and training

Documentation written for your staff, a walk-through session, and the source code. Optional monthly support afterwards, not a condition of the deal.

## Everything ends up in your name

The honest question about hiring one person is what happens if he stops. The answer is built into how the work is handed over: nothing important is held by me.

- ### Source code

Handed over in full, in a repository you own. Another developer can pick it up: it is written to be read, not to make me necessary.

- ### Accounts and infrastructure

Domain registrar, hosting, database: all opened in your company name with you as owner. I work inside your accounts, not you inside mine.

- ### Your data

Stored in your database on your infrastructure, exportable at any time. No system I build holds your data hostage on my side.

## You talk to the developer

No account manager, no project manager relaying your words to a developer you never meet, no difference between the person who quoted and the person who builds.

- ### What you describe is what gets built

Requirements do not survive being passed through three people. Here they are not passed at all: I hear the problem and I write the code.

- ### Decisions in hours

A question about scope gets answered the same day, on WhatsApp, not scheduled into next week’s status call.

- ### In English or 中文

Requirements, documentation and training in whichever your team actually uses, including systems whose interface is in Chinese, as some delivered ones are.

## Data & security, in writing

A system like this holds your vehicles, tenants, invoices and staff accounts. These commitments come with it. Each one is checkable, and none of them was invented for this page: the delivered systems already run this way.

In writing

Where your data lives

On your own servers, or in cloud accounts opened in your company’s name. When it is the cloud, you choose the region: Malaysia or Singapore data centres.

Who can see it after handover

My accounts are removed at handover. If you keep a support plan, access stays: scoped and agreed in writing, not a quiet admin login that lives on.

PDPA and confidentiality

WilliamW Resources signs a confidentiality agreement before seeing any of your data, and the system is built so you can meet your own PDPA obligations: personal data can be exported or deleted on request.

## Check these before you contact me

Claims are easy. These are all verifiable from this page.

- ### Registered business

WilliamW Resources, 202603255930 (003894196-U), registered with SSM Malaysia: verifiable, not a name on an invoice.

- ### Working systems you can open

Two full-stack demos are live on this site. No signup, no sales call: click and use them.

- ### Published prices

Ranges are on the pricing page before you enquire, so you know if we are in the same bracket.

- ### This site itself

Built, deployed, monitored and domain-managed the same way I would do yours, including the bilingual half.

## Common questions

### Is one person enough for a business-critical system?

For the size of system in the published price ranges, yes, and the delivered ones are running. What one person cannot do is absorb a sudden ten-fold scope increase, so work is split into milestones you review as they go, and you are never more than one milestone away from something usable.

### What if you stop working on it?

Everything is already in your name (code, domain, hosting, data) and documented for another developer. That is the point of the handover: you are not buying a dependency on me, you are buying a system.

### We have nobody technical. Can you handle all of it?

That is the normal case. Domain, hosting, deployment, monitoring and backups are set up for you and explained in plain language. You end up owning accounts you did not have to learn to configure.

## Ready to scope it?

Send what you manage today and what hurts. I reply within one business day; once we have talked it through, you get a written scope with a fixed price per milestone within one business day.
