Home / Fees & insurance

Fees, insurance and paying over time.

Nothing starts before you have a written quotation. It lists every item, what it costs, and what your insurance is likely to cover.

Included in every quotation

What the price covers.

  • The examination and x-rays needed to plan the treatment
  • Local anaesthetic and all single-use materials
  • The review appointment after treatment
  • Any adjustment needed within 14 days of a filling or crown fit
  • Written aftercare instructions, emailed the same day

A quotation is valid for 90 days. If we find something during treatment that changes the plan, we stop and re-quote — we do not continue and invoice the difference.

Paying over time

Instalments on anything over RM 1,500.

In-house plan, 3 months0% interest
In-house plan, 6 months0% interest
Bank card instalment, 12 monthsBank terms apply
Deposit to start treatment30% of quotation
Orthodontic casesMonthly, over treatment

In-house plans need no credit check and carry no fee. Orthodontic cases are paid across the treatment period rather than upfront.

What affects a price

Why two fillings can cost differently.

  • How many surfaces of the tooth are involved
  • Whether the nerve is affected — a deep cavity may need root canal instead
  • Position in the mouth — molars take longer and need stronger material
  • Lab work — crowns and veneers carry a lab fee, and premium ceramics cost more
  • Existing work — removing an old crown or post adds chair time

Questions about money

Asked at the front desk most weeks.

Do I pay for the consultation if I decline treatment?

You pay for the examination (from RM 120) because that is the work we did. There is no charge for the quotation, and no follow-up calls if you decide not to proceed.

Is there a charge for a second opinion?

A second-opinion consultation is RM 120 and includes reviewing x-rays you bring from another clinic. If we agree with the original plan, we will tell you so.

What if I miss an appointment?

The first missed appointment is free. After that, a RM 50 fee applies to slots cancelled with less than four hours’ notice — those slots are usually someone else’s emergency.

Is there a guarantee on crowns and fillings?

Crowns and bridges carry a five-year guarantee against failure of the restoration itself, and fillings two years, provided you attend your six-monthly check-ups.
